Installation Switchgear
GR Electrical provides everything to ensure the products can be offloaded to exact locations, with
Lorry Loaders, Cranege, A-Frame construction, whether equipment is located on roofs or sub
basements, we will provide a solution to ensure products are installed.
Standard Testing, Commissioning
Our site engineers all have the latest calibrated test equipment, which allows full coordination to
ensure our products will be tested & commissioned correctly; flash testing, ductor testing,
insulation testing & full documentation gives the client full trace-ability.
Non-Intrusive Maintenance
We provide switchgear to a range of customers, who rely on 365 days a year working & maintenance outages, become critical. We can provide a tailored package to suit your requirements to ensure the switchgear undergoes non-intrusive maintenance, become critical. We can provide a tailored package to suit your requirements to ensure the switchgear undergoes non-intrusive maintenance - thermal surveys, control systems checks, diagnostics checks, PFC Testing. A full report can then be developed to ascertain the condition of the switchgear and provide a preventative maintenance evaluation.
Site Surveys
Our engineers will carry out all aspects of site surveying & coordination from order to final installation.
All aspects of site installation in accordance with health & safety to ensure your product is delivered
& installed in a safe & secure manner. Engineers will produce site-specific method statements & risk
assessments to ensure full cooperation with site activities.
Maintenance Contracts
A 1, 3 & 5-year maintenance contracts can be provided to cover all your switchgear, from HV to LV to Sub Distribution, all tailored to suit your requirements.
Client Training
On our high-end switchgear installation, we can provide full off & on-site training, covering all aspects, with video analysis, so new staff can be brought up to speed or allow re-training very economically.
Onsite Modifications
Due to all our products being of modular design & with full traceability within the design. We can provide a full on-site modification service, from upgrading breakers to full strip downs & rebuild, because of our fully automated design process all systems modifications will be full warranty & ensured that the new install will be carried out maintaining all certification (ASTA, etc).
Planned Shutdown Services
A thorough maintenance package can be tailored to ensure all aspects of the switchgear, will be fully inspected & maintained, incorporating ACB overall, protection relays calibrated, trip circuiting proved, busbar systems checked, earthing systems checked, mechanisms operated, PFC checked. Full reports provided.
PFC Surveys
We can provide full power factor surveys and provide reports on your system to ensure you are
getting the best solution on your network.
Harmonic Analysis
We can provide full harmonic analysing, and provide reports on your system to determine what effects & harmonics have on your network.
CSCS Qualified
All our engineers, site services team & sales engineers are all CSCS qualified, a standard
requirement for any site attendance.
